Why is it that those who borrow 99% of their ideas from Plato, Augustine and Aquinas are "sheep"...
while those who borrow 99% of their ideas from Nietzsche, Marx and Freud are "free thinkers"?

That is a fantastic question. Could it be due to the fact that the number of Christians who can refer to St. Augistine, St. Thomas Aquinas or Plato are few in number? And because of that fact there are many "simple" people who believe with a faith that can move mountains. However, those who would quote Nietzsche, Marx and Freud don't see those mountains moving. Therefore, those with faith are all lumped into one category...sheep. Isn't it ironic that the term "free thinker" is one that this group would adopt. Free thinker would imply that one is free to think as he chooses, yet anyone who chooses different than they are labeled as closed minded. Yet in this "free thinking" world, there is no absolute truth which would make followers of Nietzsche, Marx and Freud sheep as well.
